Terms and Conditions
Please check availability on the website and contact us by phone (07525 628909) or email info@helebaycottage.co.uk. We will forward a booking form to you which you can send back to us by email or by post.
Your provisional booking will be held for 5 days, allowing time for you to return the booking form, along with payment of your deposit/balance. Payment can be made by cheque or postal order.
1. Deposits and Balance
A non-refundable deposit equalling 35% of the total rental amount is required to secure all bookings. Bookings will then be confirmed in writing. Please pay the rental balance 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your stay.For bookings made less than 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your stay, full balance payment will be required to secure the booking.
Upon payment of all balances a £50 security deposit will be required to cover any loss, damage or additional cleaning charges. This deposit will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less any charges.
2. Booking period
Bookings run from Saturday to Saturday. Accommodation will be available from 3pm on the day of booking, and should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. All equipment, furniture and premises should be returned in the condition in which they were supplied.
3. Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 2 weeks prior to your intended stay will be granted a full balance refund. Balance refunds after this period will be granted only if we are able to re-let the property. If the property is not re-let the hirer remains responsible for the total rental charge.
4. Short breaks
In low season (November to March) short breaks may be booked no earlier than a week prior to the date in question: 3 nights at 60% of full weekly price, 4 nights at 80% of full weekly price. In high season (Christmas and New Year weeks and April to Oct) short breaks are available as last minute bookings only (less than 1 week ahead of departure), at the prices detailed above.
5. Electricity, Water and Central heating
These are included in the price of your stay.
6. Linen
Full bed linen and duvet covers are provided. Tea towels are provided. Towels are not provided.
7. Laundry facilities
The cottage is equipped with a washing machine, ironing board, iron and airer.
8. Pets
Unfortunately, dogs and other pets are not permitted at the cottage.
9. Smoking
Please be aware and respectful of the no smoking rule in the cottage.
