Wonderful to have the beach so close, and the stunning views from the decking. Enjoyed the coast walk to Ilfracombe, boat trip up the coast, Croyde Bay and Baggy Point. Cottage a lovely mix of old and new.

Beautiful cottage, great location, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Tom would have liked a wardrobe in the second bedroom and Adam would have liked more fish in the sea. Jo and Helen were more than happy with wine and cake in front of the log fire!

Lovely cottage. Enjoyed stay at Hele. Lots to do in the area. Barnstaple great for shopping. Hele Bay Beach gorgeous in the mornings. If you put some peanuts on the window sill in the front room, you will enjoy two squirrels coming to visit. They are fun to watch. Open fire makes the cottage very cosy….. can’t wait till our next visit. Thanks for a brilliant stay.

Lovely cottage…great feel…still honing my fire-lighting skills…. Awesome gales and rain….near giddy on the Lynton and Barnstaple steam railway… hot chestnuts and mulled wine on the great garden terrace, in crisp, brilliant, xmas sun! Try Damien Hirst’s on the harbour quay. All great!

We had a great time again – Good weather – Sunny but sometimes cold……The walk to Hillsborough just above the cottage is so beautiful and on the doorstep too. The atmosphere of the cottage is special – peaceful and relaxing. We can’t wait to come back!

The cottage is fantastic. Using the barbecue in the shed under the decking was a lot of fun. Boris the badger particularly likes sausages…little tip – leave them on the patio in the front garden to catch a glimpse of him! See you next year!

Lovely cottage with close proximity to beach and other attractions. A chair in the double room would be great. Wish we could do it all again with a real summer – 2 of the wettest weeks I have ever experienced, but great twisty roads with super muddy tracks for mountain biking.

Had a wonderful time in a really lovely cottage. Weather fantastic and totally unexpected. Thanks to Karen and her husband for sorting out minor problem with the bathroom plumbing. Cottage is a perfect home from home, with everything you could want. We wish we could stay!
