The Tarka Trail
Over 30 miles of off-road cycle track between Braunton and Meeth, using the old railways of North Devon.

Golf

Ilfracombe Golf Club
A private members club welcoming visiting golfers, this 18-hole course offers spectacular coastal views, and is situated in Hele Bay, minutes from Hele Bay Cottage.

Keypitts
Located in a picturesque valley, close to Hele Bay Cottage, Keypitts Farm offers a range of supervised outdoor activities including horse and pony treks, quad biking, paintball, go-karting and 4x4 jeep drives.

Mullacott Equestrian Centre and Quads
Situated on Honeycleave Farm, just outside of Ilfracombe, the Mullacott Equestrian Centre offers beach gallops and coastal rides, as well as carriage driving and quad biking.

South West Mountain Board Centre
Offers beginner lessons, skill development, and instructor training on a series of graded slopes near Bideford.
